About Stephanie Macuiba
Stephanie Macuiba is the owner of the Law Office of Stephanie Macuiba which she established in 2016. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients with matters from start to finish and making complex legal procedures understandable. Before establishing the Law Office of Stephanie Macuiba she worked for an estate planning firm in Glendale, CA and focused exclusively on conservatorships, estate planning, and probate litigation.
Stephanie developed her passion for estate planning at the Southern Illinois University School of Law where she participated in a year long estate planning clinic for the local community, receiving a pro bono service award. Her studies also concentrated on international issues. During the summers between law school she worked at human rights organizations in India and Lebanon. She also co-founded a fellowship for law students looking to intern in human rights, international law, or immigration law.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She received her degree in International Studies. She also earned a minor in Spanish and spent a semester in Granada, Spain.
After calling sunny California home for several years, she moved back to Illinois where she was born and raised. She keeps busy running after her two kids and dog, Teddy.
